  • AICTE sponsored Staff Development Programme on “Recent Trends in Wireless Network & Sensors” was organized by computer science and IT department of ITM in June 2010.
  • A Two-day AICTE sponsored seminar on “Neural Computing & Artificial Intelligence” was conducted in August 2010 by Computer Science and IT department of ITM.
  • AICTE sponsored staff development program was conducted on “Innovative Teaching Techniques for Transport Phenomenon” in July 2010 by Chemical Engineering department of ITM.
  • Expert lectures were conducted by Electronics and Instrumentation department under Industry Institute Interaction programme in July 2010 where following speakers from Industries delivered the expert lectures: Mr. Abdullah, Cranes Software, Bangalore, delivered a lecture on ‘Lab View’, Mr. S.N. Tripathi, NPCIL India delivered a lecture on ‘Instrumentation in Atomic Energy’, Mr. P.P. Saha, Samsung, India delivered a lecture on ‘EPC Instrumentation’, Mr. Anil Gangele, Siemens, Bangalore delivered a lecture on Medical Instrumentation.
  • Two days workshop on “Advance Processing and Testing Technology in plastic manufacturing” was organized by Chemical Engineering Department of ITM in November 2009.
  • Expert lectures by Professors of Delhi Technological University were delivered in Oct/Nov 2010 for students of Mechanical Engineering Department on important topics like Design of Machine, Supply Chain Management, Heat Mass Transfer.
  • A five-day faculty development program on MATLAB was organised in June 2010 by Electronics and Telecommunication department of IITM.
  • Expert lecture on “Advance Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics” was delivered by Dr. V.K. Mandal, Associate Professor, Indraprasth University, New Delhi for the students of Chemical Engineering in November 2009.
  • An expert lecture on “Digital Signal Processing Simulation with Mentor DSP” was organized in February by Mr. Sumit Patil (Chief Application Engineer, Mentor DSP, Pune).
  • A Five-day workshop “Conceptronics” was organized by Electronics and Telecommunication Department in December 2009.
  • A workshop on “Empirical Research Methodology in Engineering & Science” was conducted by Computer Science and IT department of IITM in August 2010.
  • Industrial educational visit was organized by Electronics and Telecommunication department in February 2009 at Surya Roshni Limited, Malanpur.
  • A four-day National Workshop in collaboration with SPSS South Asia Pvt. Ltd. Research Methodology for management and Statistical Analysis Using Pasw18.0 was organized by Faculty of Management Studies of ITM Universe in June 2010.
  • A Seminar on Darwin’s Theory of Evolution on “Origin of Species” was organized in December 2009 on Darwin’s 200 birth anniversary and 150th anniversary of Origin of Species by Biotech Department.
  • In millennium lecture series: Dr. D.K. Singh, Department of Zoology, University of Delhi delivered a lecture on Soil Biodiversity of nif H, nar G and amo A genes and Development of Indicator for Soil health in February 2010.
  • International Women’s Day was celebrated on 8th March, 2010, Dr. (Major) Asha Mathur, Sagar University was the Chief Guest. A speech competition was also conducted on the occasion.
  • National Seminar on “Biotechnology and Health Prospects and Perspectives in 21st century” was organized by Biotech department in March 2010 which was supported by Ministry of Health, GOI.
  • Earth Day was celebrated on 22nd April 2010. This programme was supported by Ministry of Earth Sciences, Govt. of India. Various activities such as Bicycle rally to promote non-polluting transportation, Cleaning of city, Visit to village (Nagori), Tree plantation in the campus, Debate competition, College competition, Slogan writing, Essay writing, Drawing/ poster and painting competition and Quiz competition were organised on this occasion.
  • A seminar on “Population Environment and Development” was organized in July 2010 on International Population Day by Biotech Department.
  • Ms. Vaishaish Uppal (WWF) delivered a lecture on ‘Sustainable Livelihood and Governance’ in July, 2010 under Environment and Development lecture series.
  • AICTE sponsored national seminar on “Recent Development on Sensor Applied System” was organized by Physics department in April 2010.
  • National Conference on “Futuristic Computer Applications” (FCA – 09) was organized by CS & IT department in October 2009.
  • A workshop on Embedded System “Technocrats Art of Automize” was organized by department of CS & IT in September 2009.
  • A student techfest “Samavesh-09” was organized by CS & IT department in October 2009.
  • • An expert talk on “Importance of Professional Education” was organized by MCA department in February 2009. Where well known management guru Mr. Sharn Rangnekar was the key speaker.
  • • Faculty Development Program on Dot Net (.net) technology was organized by MCA department in March 2010.
  • • Faculty of Management Studies organised an FDP on Research Methodology from December 12-13, 2009 for faculties in management discipline.
  • • Faculty of Management Studies organised a two-day workshop in January 2010 to inspire and empower faculty to teach effectively using the case method and to write practical cases on different issues.
  • • A seven-day Research Paper Writing Workshop by Faculty of Management Studies to enhance the research paper writing skills of faculties so that they are able to write quality research papers was held in April 2010.
  • • A panel discussion for one day was organized on European Union Integration: Learning and Future Directions in February, 2010 for the practical exposure of the international business environment for management students. Prof. Bengt Johnson, Assoc. Professor (Business Administration), Gotland University, Sweden, Prof. Nimit Chowdhary, Institute of Travel and Tourism Management (IITTM), Gwalior and Prof. Yogesh Upadhyay, Director, Management Studies ITM Universe, Gwalior were the eminent members in the panel discussion
