In the last decade with the growth of industry came the need to analyze the gap between formal education & skills required by industry.
The TAP Cell of ITM Universe has timely identified the gap & introduced a unique model of providing Augmentation & Training on required skill sets which can complement the formal education. The programs are structured on the basis of feedback from leading industries academics & research institutions in different fields.
In order to conduct the program professionally companies of international repute from relevant fields were identified & after scrutiny on quality benchmarks they were assigned the very important task of Training & Augmentation.
The Institute has introduced a rare model of involving the students in process from selection of industry to execution of complete program. This adds immensely to the managerial & professional skills development of students and transparency in the complete process. It is worth to mention here that all the augmentation programs results in professional certificates by the respective company with grading, based on performance of the student.
This is a first of its kind of tie-up with some of the world's leading players like. Rockwell automation which has only one and first tie-up with any education (private as well as govt.) institute in the country.
After negotiations on quality & other aspects following companies were selected to train the students.

Initial months took rigorous efforts & counselling of students to become part of training & augmentation & after 8 months of initiation today 80% of the present lot of students of different courses are undergoing these programs. The industry has welcomed the initiative & given a very positive feedback on the basis of the quality of students recruited by them.
TAP Cell regularly invites feedback from industry, academics & research organizations to improve upon the program.
